1. 2012
   Founding

   Osnel Delgado, Fernando Sáez and Daileidys Carrazana found Malpaso in Havana, aiming to sustain an international repertoire without giving up Cuba as home base.

2. 2014
   First international tour

   The company performs outside Cuba for the first time and begins building the network of theaters that sustains its current calendar.

3. 2016
   24 Hours and a Dog

   The company's signature work premieres, with music by Arturo O'Farrill. It remains the piece Malpaso uses to introduce itself to new audiences.

4. 2017
   Joyce Theater Associate Company

   New York's Joyce Theater names Malpaso an associate company, a relationship that has structured its international season ever since.

5. 2022
   Ten years

   The company turns ten with a repertoire of more than twenty original works and a permanent cast trained entirely in Cuba.
